Experience sailing in Bacuit bay Sailing is a unique way to explore Bacuit Bay. On a single day, learn to sail in one of the most beautiful Island and explore your own supervised by an experienced instructor.
Duration: 8 hours
2 hours of intense course and 6 hours on sailing and island tour in Bacuit Bay
Typical Route (depending on the wind)
9am to 11am: 2 Hours intense course with complete certificate.
Meeting at El Nido Sailing office with the sailing instructor. 2 hours of little theory & more practice. After this course, you will be able to navigate your own, and navigate on the Bay (always supervised by the instructor).
11am: Departure for your first stop: “Pinagbuyutan”,
One of the most beautiful Island of Bacuit Bay. It’s about one-hour navigation to reach this Island. Take your lunch there, have a rest on your hamac or take a sunbath. Explore the marine life on snorkeling, install your hammock or try fishing!
Then, after you lunch, follow the wind and explore the spots of El Nido Sailing’s map! Sand-bar: “A romantic place in the middle of nowhere”. After a full moment of relaxing in it incredible area, you will depart for other spots showing on the MAP. All depends on the wind direction
Snake Island: “Little trek for an amazing view point”. It was called Snake Island because of the long stretch of sand that reaches the next island. Dagal-Dagal: Traditional boatman village Malacapao: “Considered as a true Paradise” It’s island is a Two huge rocks, crowned with palm trees and adorned the white sand beach.
5pm: Back to Corong-Corong Beach at El Nido Sailing Office.

So here’s a thing I never thought I would learn, ever, SAILING. But here I am, on my third course with Carmie, and we were left alone with our catamaran! No instructor! I confess, it was terrifying but it was thrilling and calming too. Just us, the boat, the wind, and the sea. Thank you so much for allowing me to gain this life skill, El Nido Sailing!
